Training for Village Development Data Updating Officers (PODES) 2025

Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Manokwari Regency organized a training program for prospective officers of the 2025 Village Potential Data (PODES) Update for the regions of Manokwari, Manokwari Selatan, and Pegunungan Arfak.

The training was conducted in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline sessions. It began with self-paced learning on May 19, 2025, followed by an online training session via Zoom Meeting on May 20, 2025. The offline training was held at Valdos Hotel Manokwari on May 22, 2025.

This round of PODES is specifically designed to update data and information on the potential of each region. As with previous data collection exercises, this PODES utilizes the Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) method, using the FASIH application.

Through this training, it is expected that all prospective officers will gain a solid understanding of the data collection mechanism, application usage, and relevant concepts and definitions. This will ensure the production of high-quality village development data that is beneficial for supporting better development planning.
