Training for Sakernas February 2025 Officers

The BPS (Central Statistics Agency) of Manokwari Regency conducted training for prospective officers of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) for February 2025 in Manokwari, Manokwari Selatan, and Pegunungan Arfak. The training was held in a hybrid format, combining online and offline sessions. The online training took place on January 16, 17, and 20, 2025, via Zoom Meeting. Meanwhile, the offline training was held at the BPS Office of Manokwari Regency on January 22-23, 2025.

Sakernas is a survey organized by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), specifically designed to provide continuous basic labor force data. Data collection for Sakernas is conducted using the Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) method with the FASIH application. Unlike previous years, this time Sakernas will be conducted four times a year (quarterly).

Through this training, it is hoped that all prospective officers will understand the data collection mechanisms, application usage, concepts and definitions, as well as the procedures for filling out the E-Form, in order to produce high-quality labor force data to support better national development planning.
